Steel Detailing: Where Accuracy, Speed, and Harmony Meet.
In steel structure projects, every millimeter counts. A small mistake can lead to delays in the production line, serious workplace accidents on the assembly site, and increased costs. At Abram Steel, we operate with this awareness and responsibility.
With our steel detailing service, we provide high-accuracy drawings and models that are fully compatible with architectural, structural, and mechanical projects, facilitating production and assembly. We don't just "draw" the project; we ensure the process is optimized to increase production and assembly efficiency. Each structural element is modeled according to production tolerances, with appropriate connections and correct cutting angles. The result is error-free production, seamless on-site assembly, and minimal revision costs.
We eliminate errors in advance with BIM-based 3D modeling.
Unlike traditional 2D drawings, all details in Abram Steel projects are modeled in 3D. This allows potential errors and clashes to be detected and eliminated during the drawing phase, before the project even begins.
Thanks to our BIM (Building Information Modeling) based approach, every connection, from column-beam joints to base plates, bolt placement to weld seams, is modeled taking into account site conditions and production requirements.
Thanks to 3D modeling, the field team can more easily understand where and how each part should be assembled by looking at the drawings. In addition, the models we create with Tekla Structures can be presented to clients visually, speeding up the project approval process.

Compliance with every country and every regulation.
Each country has different building standards — therefore, not every project can be viewed with the same perspective. At Abram Steel, we prepare drawings that are fully compliant with numerous regulations in our steel detailing processes, including AISC (American), Eurocode (European), BS (British), CSA (Canadian), and TBDY (Turkish Earthquake Code).
Technical requirements specific to each region—such as high-torque bolt details for the USA, weld seam optimizations for Europe, and seismic detailing for Turkey—are analyzed at the start of the project, and the drawing process is planned accordingly. This ensures not only engineering accuracy but also a guarantee of passing local inspections.
Production-Oriented Detailing: Workshop-Compatible and CNC-Supported
Ensuring that drawings are fully compatible with production means not just completing the project, but completing it efficiently and profitably. Abram Steel tailors the detailing process to the needs of its workshop engineers and field teams.
Shop drawings are prepared to enable direct processing of parts on laser cutting machines, with minimal welding, accurate bolt placement, and optimum material usage. Furthermore, all production outputs (NC1, DXF, DSTV, STEP) are delivered with 100% compatibility with the machines.
This production-oriented approach reduces waste, shortens assembly time, and speeds up pre-production quality control processes.

No More Getting Lost on Site with Assembly Planning
Modeling should facilitate not only production but also the on-site assembly process. Abram Steel integrates assembly sequence planning and site-specific drawings into the detailing process.
Critical information, such as which part should be assembled first and which connector is compatible with what, is clearly indicated in the assembly plans. Color coding, directional symbols, and reference notes are also used in the drawings to facilitate the work of assembly personnel in the field.
This relieves construction crews from the stress of reading drawings, minimizes workplace accidents, and makes on-time delivery possible.
All Revisions Are Under Surveillance: Process Transparency
One of the biggest factors leading to wasted time and errors in a project is the inability to track revisions. Abram Steel systematizes revision tracking.
Each change is documented in the drawings with version codes, and the relevant areas are marked with symbols. The client can clearly see what has changed. This not only strengthens communication but also ensures clarity regarding legal responsibilities.
In addition, revision reports are stored digitally and all parties involved in the process can access them at any time. Thus, the question of "which drawing was correct" becomes a thing of the past.
