Personal Data Protection Policy

INFORMATION TEXT REGARDING THE PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

This privacy notice has been prepared by Abram Steel Engineering Consulting Construction Manufacturing Metal Industry and Trade Limited Company (“the Company”) as the data controller under the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”).

Our company attaches great importance to the privacy, security, and lawful processing of the personal data of our customers, business partners, suppliers, and all users visiting our website. Your personal data is processed, stored, and protected in accordance with the relevant legislation, within the scope and for the purposes stated below.

Your collected personal data is processed for the purposes of responding to requests, suggestions and communications, conducting offer processes, customer relationship management, service development, fulfilling legal obligations and carrying out commercial activities.

As the data subject, your information such as name, surname, email address, phone number, message content, IP address, and transaction security information is collected non-automatically through contact forms and other channels on our website. This data is processed based on the conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law) and with your explicit consent where necessary.

Your personal data may be shared with third parties, limited to legally authorized public institutions, judicial authorities, and domestic service providers with whom we have a service relationship. Data is not transferred abroad.

Your data will be retained for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or for as long as the processing purpose remains valid. Data whose retention period has expired will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with our company's data destruction policies.

In accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK (Law on Protection of Personal Data), you have the right to apply to our company to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information regarding this processing if it is; learn the purpose of the data's use and whether it is being used in accordance with those purposes; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request the deletion or destruction of your data within the framework of Article 7 of the KVKK; request that the processing be notified to third parties; object to the analysis of data by automated systems resulting in adverse consequences for you; and claim compensation if you suffer any damage.

To exercise these rights, you can submit your application in writing to our company address along with documents verifying your identity, or you can apply by sending an email to info@abramsteel.com.tr. Your applications will be processed within a maximum of 30 days in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

This text was updated on 22.09.2025 and will be revised and put into effect again if deemed necessary by our Company.

4. Storage Methods

Personal data;

  • In an electronic environment, on secure servers and encrypted systems,

  • In physical form, they are stored in locked cabinets and accessible only to authorized personnel.

Access to data is limited to personnel authorized within the scope of their job description.

5. Disposal Methods

Data whose retention period has expired is destroyed using the following methods:

  • Physical destruction: Paper documents are destroyed by being shredded using paper shredders.

  • Digital destruction: Data on servers is permanently deleted (in accordance with DoD 5220.22-M standard).

  • Anonymization: Data is rendered in such a way that it cannot be linked to an identified or identifiable natural person.

6. Periodic Inspections

Data retention and destruction checks are conducted every year in January and July. As a result of these checks, data whose legal retention period has expired is destroyed and recorded.

7. Responsibility

The Data Controller Representative is responsible for data destruction processes. All departments are primarily responsible for the storage and destruction of their own records.

8. Updates

This policy is subject to update in response to regulatory changes and internal company needs. The current version is published at www.abramsteel.com .
