The Heart of Manufacturing: Flawless and Consistent Production Data.

Even the best design in steel structure projects can fail when combined with faulty production data on site. At Abram Steel, we are aware of this risk and carry out one of the most critical stages of the production process, "job preparation," with zero tolerance.

Shop drawings presented in a way that workshop employees can easily understand, production files and bills of materials that are 100% compatible with CNC machines, give you control at every step of the production process.

Shop Drawings and Assembly Drawings: On-site Suitability is Our Priority

In detail drawings, practicality is prioritized as well as technical accuracy. At Abram Steel, our shop drawings include all part dimensions, welding details, bolt placements, coating directions, and assembly notes.

Assembly drawings (GA drawings) allow you to clearly see the location of each part produced on site. This prevents delays and orientation errors during assembly.

CNC Compatible Digital Manufacturing Files

Modern manufacturing facilities work directly with machines rather than manual drawings. Therefore, Abram Steel provides industry-standard digital production files for every project.

  • NC1 / DSTV: For steel cutting machines.

  • DXF: For laser and plasma cutting.

  • STEP: For 3D printing needs

  • DWG / PDF: For manual review and documentation.

These files ensure minimum errors and maximum production efficiency.

Material Optimization and Parts Lists

Material waste is a problem that reduces profitability for many manufacturers. At Abram Steel, we optimize materials by re-evaluating structural designs before production.

In addition, the following outputs will be provided to you along with your project:

  • Part lists

  • Bill of Materials (BOQ)

  • Bolt list

  • Coating list (galvanizing/paint quantity)

  • Welding quantities

All these documents facilitate both the production and purchasing processes.

Compliance with Quality Control Processes

The production process doesn't end with simply providing the drawing. The drawings must comply with quality control standards. At Abram Steel, we specify details such as welding types, test requirements (NDT, UT, MT), assembly tolerances, and surface preparation in our shop drawings.

This allows your workshop or quality control team to plan pre- and post-production tests according to the drawings.

On-time delivery, revision-free production.

The job preparation process is a race against time. Abram Steel plans the job preparation time according to the project size and provides delivery times in advance. Furthermore, because the same team handles detailing and production drawings, the need for revisions is minimized.

This means that:

  • Project delivery time is shortened.

  • The production line will not be interrupted.

  • Field revisions and the need for remanufacturing are reduced.
